FTL Navigation & Hacking Stun removed from game. Most augments improved or made cheaper.Stealth C's Shield+ Drone now requires 1 power Engi B starts with Level 3 Piloting and Heavy Ion is buffed Rock A starts with Explosive Replicator (with fewer missiles) and Hull Missile is buffed Fed C starts with Repair Burst Stealth B starts with Titanium System Casing and Level 3 Cloaking is cheaper.Enemy ships are stronger in Sectors 6-8.Many events tweaked, making more options actually worth considering (e.g., the black market weapons trade is far more reasonable). You can no longer bypass enemy Defense Drones with Hacking, and Hacking is much more expensive.Kestrel C and Federation B have been redesigned in an effort to make them a unique experience compared to other ships.Best weapons more expensive, Flak I less accurate, Flak I & Halberd less common. Weak weapons made relevantly cheaper or otherwise improved.Hence, Small FTL Drives were rebalanced with lower efficiency that minimally affects small fighters (tested around 80,000 credits), but drastically affects larger cruisers and warships (500,000 and up), which require medium FTL Drives. But this isn't a problem until larger FTL drives are introduced, as they become far too powerful for their size.

As they currently exist, Small FTL Drives are actually slightly overpowered because so few of them, comparatively, are needed to warp large starships. But don't worry - the Medium FTL Drive more than makes up for needing more power with it's greater fuel-consumption efficiency and space efficiency.Īdditionally, small FTL Drives are also slightly nerfed so that Medium FTL Drives wouldn't be overpowered to be reasonably stronger than Small Drives. However, Medium FTL Drives require more reactor power than a single small FTL drive. More FTL Drives adds a medium-sized (3x3) FTL Drive that is more efficient at FTL jumping than an array of smaller drives and takes less space than several small drives. Ever wanted to warp large starships across the galaxy, but find that the "small" FTL drives collectively take up too much precious space to be efficient? No longer!
